OPOTC REQUALIFICATION COURSE

OPOTC 4 HOUR REQUALIFICATION COURSE FOR PISTOL AND SHOTGUN

7:00 AM-12:00 PM

· Location:  LEPD 999 BETHEL RD COLUMBUS OH 43214 

· Class starts promptly at 7:00. You must be present for 100% of the course to pass.  

· Bring a valid driver’s license or state I.D.

· If your previous certificate was not from Ohio Private & Police Training Institute then you must bring a copy of your previous certificate with you.

· You will need a serviceable firearm and a minimum of 2 magazines for semi-auto or 2 speed loaders for revolver, 3 preferred. When you arrive, DO NOT, take your firearms out of your vehicle until directed to do so. You will also need a belt, belt holster, magazine pouch or speed loader pouch, no cross draw or shoulder holsters permitted. All firearms must be empty with the action open {slide back or cylinder open}, secured with a lock or suitable gun case.

· A firearms instructor will inspect all firearms prior to entering the classroom/range facility. Any firearm deemed unacceptable by OPPTI instructors will not be permitted in t he classroom or on the range. 

 Everyone must have eye and ear protection and a baseball style cap. 

· You will need 100 rounds of ammunition and if shooting a shotgun 10 rounds of 00 buck. OPPTI no longer has ammunition for sale due to liability issues.

· Cost for Pistol Requalification is $105.00.

  **Students failing to show for class without 72 hours notice may be billed 100% for class** 

 · YOU ARE NOT REGISTERED FOR A CLASS UNTILL YOU CONTACT LEPD.
